Pam Smith Secures Sponsorship from Florida Hospital
Pam Smith, a Lymphatic Therapist who works at Florida
Hospital Waterman, drummed up the
courage to ask the hospital's President for sponsorship for the Lymphedema Awareness Foundation (LAF). The
President asked Pam to provide a list and cost to him and gave
verbal approval to sponsor the Lymph-0-Maniacs Dragon Boat Team for the event on
March 20, 2004. The funds generated by this competition will help the LAF further in
the pursuit of LE awareness, education and support.
Additionally, Pam is planning on securing additional sponsorship for several forthcoming LAF programs. The Lymphedema Awareness Foundation salutes Pam for her
hard work and consistent efforts since 2001.
Please ask your workplace to assist with LAF's work. Lymphedema needs funding in order to spread awareness and educaiton. Contact laf@elymphnotes.org
